📖 About Zakat
Zakat is the Third Pillar of Islam. Every Muslim who possesses wealth above the Nisab threshold for a full lunar year (Hawl) must pay 2.5% as Zakat.

- Wealth held for one full lunar year
- Wealth is in excess of basic needs

Nisab is the minimum threshold:
